What factors can affect the number of eggs a chicken lay?
Posted by: John@ - 12-08-2014, 08:58 PM - Forum: Livestock Farming - Replies (5)

Please list as many as possible. I know of giving extra 14-16 hours of light, keeping them healthy, clean environment etc. Is there any medication that can be used to boost egg production?

  Keeping Poultry Pen Dry
Posted by: FarmKing - 11-16-2014, 10:09 PM - Forum: Livestock Farming - Replies (7)

Greetings all. Pls How can I keep my poultry pen dry? It has always been dry during the dry season when humidity was low, so dry to the extent of being dusty. That was also when they were on grower feed. But when they switched to layers feed, the dropping becomes watery and when the rainy season came, the litter has always been wet. I have to clean it almost every day.
