How much feed will a rabbit need per day - Danny - 11-17-2014

I’ll like to own some bunnies in the future. So how much feed will they need per day. I’ll like to feed them grass and supplements.

It depends on the weight of each bunny. A doe at six months of age will eat 3.8% of her live weight daily. E.g. a 4.5kg doe will eat [38/100] x 4.5 = 0.17kg = 170g daily. If hay and grains are fed, she will consume 70g of a grain mixture and about 100g of hay to make 170g.
