How much feed will a chicken need per day - Charly - 11-22-2014
I’ll like to know how much to set aside as feeding cost for egg laying birds. How much balanced feed will egg layers eat per day.

You can get a breeder management guide from your breeder's website. You can find one at Isapoultry.com. The guide will contain estimated feed requirement throughout the bird's productive lifetime.

They consume little but when you calculate it for the whole herd, it is much oo. Multiply total feed consume by price of feed per kg and you'll be suprise.
