Where can I Get Fruit Fly Protein Attractant?

I have experienced a lot of damage from fruit flies and I've seen them perching on my cuke fruits. One very effective way to get rid of them is by using a protein attractant mixed with an insecticide. The idea is that the females need protein-rich feed before they can mature and start laying eggs. By poisoning these protein attractants, you can kill alot of females and minimize their damage. Will protein rich foods like milk, meat, soybean meal etc do the job? Is their any diy protein attractant recipe I can use?

Best Time to Apply Fungicides?

My experience with gtowing crops like cucumber and watermelon has been a disaster because I didn't applied fungicides to control diseases. And one bad thing is that these diseases normally take hold during periods of constant rainfall and drizzles. So I'm wondering if fungicides will be helpful under such condition. Who knows how I can effectively apply fungicides to control diseases?

where to buy stevia cuttings in nigeria?

Stevia is a safe alternative to sugar. The extract is 300x sweeter than sugar. Healthwise, it has no bad effect on diabetic patience. It can be use to sweeten drinks, baking products, tea etc. All these are interesting. But my headache now is where i can get the cuttings to plant. They said it is better to plant the cuttings than seeds because the seeds hardly germinate and plants grown from seeds tend to have lower sweetness. Pls does anyone know where I can get the cuttings in nigeria? I seriously want to plant it in large quantity.

Ripening Unripe Pepper after Freezing?

Good day all. I'm having problem with worm-like creatures that eat my peppers before they ripen. So I'm considering harvesting them when they are mature but still green. Then freeze them for a day or so to kill the worms and then allow them to ripen. Can they still ripen after freezing?

Cucumber Leaves to goat?

Will it be harmfull to them? I'm not concern whether they'll eat it or not. I know that animals, goat inclusive, will hardly eat something they are not used to - except it is extremely palatable. But if you starve them and mix the foreign feed into a very palatable feed they'll eat it and soon get use to the foreign feed. The same thing can happen with cucumber leaves. So my major concern is whether cucumber leaves will pose any danger to goats. Any help?
