lemon grass also does the trick. plant it around and snakes wont be a problem

To update, cats and dogs cannot handle snakes effectively oo. One bite and their life is in danger. The only 2 animals that can deal with snakes very well are mongoose and honey badger. Snake poison have no effect on them. flocks of Guinea fowls, peacocks and turkeys can harass snakes and deter them from coming to your farm.
