Like how many eggs can layers lay in a year time?

Since the time they start laying to one year, they'll lay 250-300 eggs - under good management.

You can only achieve that with good management practice. For eg, if temperature is hiigh, they'll eat less and thus lay less.

It is always lower in hot climates than in temperate regions.

I know this is old. But how can we reduce the effect of heat stress. Will fans do?

Fans will be great. They will also keep the pen dry and eliminate ammonia odor. This odor alone can cause havoc by reducing birds' immunity and exposing them to diseases.
