For piglet diarrhea, here are some info I got after some research:
weaning age also contribute. Experts recommend 26-28 days or more as oppose to 21 days so that the piglets will develop strong Immune system and gastro-intestinal tract. Other contributing factors are housing, population density, parity segregated production and the feeding regimen after weaning. Maintain 26–28 °C. Cold conditions will make post weaning diarrhoea more severe. Feeding weaners 2x per day with a restricted amount of feed is bad. Rather feed 3x or more per day with or without restricting feed. Pelleted feed and inadequate feeder space also contribute. Reducing the level of soybean meal in the feed reduces the severity and frequency of PWD (post weaning diarrhea) and oedema disease. Adding organic acids, probiotics, prebiotics, or zinc oxide (2400–3000 ppm in feed or zinc methionine (ZnM) at 500 mg/kg feed) and reducing feed protein content also help. Note that giving higher level of zinc will increase the diarrhoea incidence. Then exposing the ethanol to air for some days and it turns to vinegar. E.g. Get sugary foodstuff like fruit peels. Mix with enough water to cover it. Add some sugar and cover it tightly. But puncture a little hole on the lid for gases to escape. After one week or less you get ethanol. Then open the container and cover with handkerchief. ONE OF THE PROBLEMS WITH PIG FARMING IS NEGLECTING THE TIME FACTOR
I mean, Pigs aren’t your pets so why keep ‘em for over a year in your farm.. especially pigs meant for slaughter You should Know this, any pig that stays over 6 months in your farm.. From the 7th you’re already losing money That’s why it’s adviced to invest in good breeds, Invest more on their feeding and Management The money spent you’d totally recover when you keep to time! Whatever you give that you shall get from these animals Good breed + Balanced Diet = Profitability There’s no other secret apart from this! Let’s try to keep the following in mind this week✅✅ Don’t buy more than you can feed Don’t buy pigs you have no idea of their genetic history Always use Quality Bellfeeds for each stage of growth Lactacter feeds for mothers Gestator feeds for pregnant gilts or sows Pig starter for weaned piglets Pig growers for porkers Sow for boars and dry mothers Pig finisher for ready market baconers Make Clean Water always available for them Don’t play with their Routine Medication And keep your pens clean Most importantly remember they’re not pets So sell off as At when due!! When all this Boxes are ticked You’ve done what 80% of farmers aren’t doing and that will make your journey in this business stand out from the rest!! |
