Rabbits: Preventing serious digestive problem in Rabbit
#1
I just want to share with you one way in which you can prevent serious digestive problem in rabbits. If you’re feeding green feeds, never allow them to stand in a pile because they’ll soon become heated and ferment. This can cause serious digestive problems in rabbits. Lastly, to avoid spread of diseases, greens should be place in a manger and not on the floor where they’ll be soiled.
Food for the Nation.

Nice infos. Thanks. I'm sure that some rabbit farmers will store their grass in tied bunches.

Fermented feed made from grains, soybean and similar feed ingredients are good for rabbits. But grass that are left to heat up in a pile are not good for them.

Thanks! I am very interested in this. Do we have to cook soybean before fermenting ? Do we let it dries a little before feeding?
I would appreciated if you can point me to the materials that i can read more on this subject.
Thank you again
