Prices may vary base on location. In Onitsha Anambra state, Rocket 500g is N1500. Oxamyl 1kg is N3000. Velum Prime 250ml is N32000.

It is costly oo. One(250ml) will cover 1 acre. Application thru soil/root. Its more than just a nematicide, also fungicidal. See the image below for dosage.

I apply it in a circle hole round the plant when they are still seedlings (within 1-2 days after germination). Apply and cover with soil. Irrigate as soon as possible.

To prevent nematodes from becoming resistant to nematicides, don't just use only one type all the time. Rotate them.

Pls what about liquid Chlorpyrifos.  Can it be used instead of the solid one?

They put it at 1g/m2. But I just do it as shown in the picture below because I don't have the applicator that can do that.

I found a cheaper option ??: Agriguard and Greenland Ga

? Protect Your Crops the Organic Way!
? Introducing Agriguard Biological Fungicide – 100% Safe and Effective
Tired of chemical fungicides that damage the soil and harm the environment?
Say hello to Agriguard — a powerful bio-fungicide made from a natural fungus called Trichoderma harzianum. It’s your best bet against crop diseases like:
✅ Blight
✅ Root rot
✅ Damping-off
✅ Seed rot
✅ Crown rot
✅ Black spot
✅ Pod rot
✅ Smut & neck blast

? How It Works
Agriguard does more than kill fungi — it protects your crops by:
  • Bonding with roots to block harmful pathogens from entering.
  • Competing with bad fungi for nutrients — without harming good microbes like Rhizobium or mycorrhizae.
  • Releasing special enzymes that break down fungal cell walls and stop diseases before they start.
It's a natural shield that helps your crops grow healthy and strong.

? Great for all crops
