What can cause a cucumber plant to die just like this?

This is bacteria wilt disease, transmitted by cucumber beetles. Control beetles to stop it.

This one is a disease cause by water mold. It normally occur on fruits in contact with the soil. Prevent by placing such fruits on cardboard.
