Getting Rid of Flies
#1
Fellow farmers, pls how do you get rid of flies in a poultry farm? Is it good to be spraying insecticides all the time or are there other means?

I my opinion if you make Lacto Bacilli serum and spray the chicken coop to get rid of odor would help with flies rather than spraying insecticides

I think Lacto Bacillus serum spray will only make sense for people who have access to excess milk. Otherwise you shud focus more on cleaniness and maintaning the litter in dry condition. http://www.farmersjoint.com/blog/livesto...s-control/

Also, spray insecticides like abamectin, lambdacyhalothrin etc on walls and they will kill flies that perch of the walls. There is also larvacides you can mix in feed to kill insect larvae in the manure.
