Distance Between Battery and Inverter
#1
What is the maximum distance an inverter can be from the battery bank? Any farmer know this? We really need to solarize our farms.

The inverter should be as close to the batter as possible because the lower voltage of the battery means greater power loss if the connecting wires are very long. Power stations transmits their power at very high voltage because of this. And we don't transmit dc over long distances because of same reason.
