Ans: It is better you start with breeders. These are adult animals that are matured enough to give birth without it affecting their growth. Female rabbits can be bred at 5-6 months old (8-9 months for larger breeds). Male rabbits (bucks) are mature for breeding at 6 months for small breeds, 7 months for medium breeds and 9 months for large breeds. 1 male can serve 15 does.
Pregnancy in rabbits last for only 31 days! They can produce 1-12 baby rabbits each time they give birth. With good feeding, you can breed her again when the babies are 4 weeks old. This way one doe can give birth 6 times in a year.
Male goats can be used for breeding at 1 year old, during which he can serve 10 female goats (does) per month. At 2 years old he can serve up to 25 does at a time. For does, they should be bred when they reach 60-70% of the average adult weight of her breed. Length of pregnancy is 145-150 days. They hardly give birth to more than 3 kids.
