Chickens: Which temperature is suitable for layers
#1
What is the best temperature for them? The temperature where they will lay more eggs.

For optimum egg production, layers require a temperature and humidity range of 20-24°C (65-80°F.) and 60-80% relative humidity. For every 1oC lower than 20oC, the bird will consume extra 1.5g of feed per day. When temperature rises above 24oC, egg weight and shell quality tend to suffer.
