How often should lice drugs be given to Layers bird?

How often should lice drugs be given to Layers bird? because I gave Invermetin to my bird a month ago but I still discover that they still have lice in their body.

U give it when you notice lice and not by routine. I give ivermectin every 2-3 months but for worms. The best way to get ride of lice is by buying those lice drugs that are poured on their body. Or you have mix ash with sand and let them dustbath in it.

There are various types of POUR ON, we have like d IVERMECTIN pour on (different from ivermectin oral u put on water) e tal. Visit any vet drug store, ask for pour on for birds

If you have 1000 birds or more, will pour on be feasible? I thought ivermectin oral can take care of lice. If it doesn't, mixing ash in their sand bath will be less strenous. You may also add lice drug to the sand.
