Raingun vs Drip Irrigation
#2
Both of them have their pros and con's. Raingun is cheaper than drip. A 50m rain gun cost about N70k and you can use it to irrigate hactares of land if you move it from place to place. The cost of drip kit that will achieve that is mind blowing. Raingun uses more water and wet all the land, thus giving weeds opportunity to grow.
.
Drip uses far less water and wet only root zones of the plant. It does not wet the leaves like rain gun, so disease issue is minimized. etc etc. For me, I'll go for raingun BC of the price.
