Chickens: Pale Comb in Chickens

I've seen some egg layers with very pale comb instead of the normal red. What can be the cause? Does it mean it's not a good layer?

Are they healthy? A lot of things can cause it. Eg, worms, after egg laying, the comb can be pale, but not very pale though. Some diseases can cause it. If they're ill call a vet.
