This is one of the most underrated stories in the Bible. What strikes me most is that Susanna wasn't just fighting against two wicked men, she was fighting against men whose words carried authority. In those days, the testimony of respected judges could easily outweigh that of an ordinary person. Yet she chose to remain faithful to God even when it looked like doing the right thing would cost her life. That takes extraordinary courage.
