Good day all. I'm having problem with worm-like creatures that eat my peppers before they ripen. So I'm considering harvesting them when they are mature but still green. Then freeze them for a day or so to kill the worms and then allow them to ripen. Can they still ripen after freezing?
I don't think this is possible or neccessary. Just consider the electric power needed to freeze 100s or 1000s bags of pepper. Better to control the pest with some insecticides.

To update: This problem affected only few peppers. Thanks to Attack insecticide. I sprayed it only once but it was effective. But note that it is better to spray routinely every 7 days or so BC once pests get into the seed, damage is already done.
