Farming Is Vast—Don’t Box It In

I used to think farming was just about tilling soil, planting crops, and raising livestock. But the more I learn, the more I realize: that farming is limitless.

a. It’s also about rearing insects—like black soldier flies, crickets, or locusts for animal feed or even human consumption.

b. It’s also about growing Azolla or duckweed - tiny aquatic plants that becomes nutrient-rich feed for fish, poultry, and livestock.

c. It’s also about turning waste into wealth, transforming kitchen scraps or market leftovers into something valuable.

d. It’s also about closed-loop systems, where every element supports another.

You don’t need vast fields to farm.
A bucket, a basin, or a few containers can be the beginning of something big.

Modern farming isn’t just about land—it’s about vision, creativity, and seeing potential where others don’t.

If you’ve been holding back because you think you lack space, money, or resources—remember:

You don’t need everything to start. You just need to start with something.
Thanks for sharing. Farming is quite vast
Great share. I'm particularly interested in Azolla and duckweed. I once grew duckweed in a small basin long time ago. Then, I had no space but now I have plenty space.
