Vaccinating Layers - Trimex - 12-17-2014

What is the best time of the day to vaccinate layers so that egg production will not be negatively affected?

RE: Vaccinating Layers - Henlus - 12-17-2014

It's obvious, in the morning when it is cool. The only vaccine normally given to layers is lasota in water. Other vaccination shud hav been completed before they start laying. Generally it is better to vaccinate when weather is cool - morning or evening.

I think morning is cooler and better, especially during the hot seasons. Another imp thing to note is that, you shud avoid direct sunlight on vaccines, else the vaccination might fail. Sunlight can render vaccines useless by killing the vaccine virus.
