Ginger to Chickens? - Manger - 12-17-2014

Do you give gingers to your chickens? What health benefits do you observe?

Ginger helps improve laying performance. One experiment says: "all laying hens had similar ADF, laying rate, average egg weight and feed conversion. However, ginger helped to increase egg mass than without". The recommended optimal level was 10-15g of ginger in 1kg of feed.
