Is it possible to use plastic mulch without drip irrigation? - Henlus - 09-15-2017 Manual weed control is back-breaking and painfully slow. It is also very costly. I like the idea of controlling weeds with plastic mulch but everything read say that a source of water should be installed under the mulch since it is impermeable. But I can't afford to install any of those. Does anyone have a brilliant idea on how to irrigate the plant without installing drip irrigation? I'll appreciate ur ideas. Thanks. RE: Is it possible to use plastic mulch without drip irrigation? - Sendrix - 09-15-2017 Like in some pictures i've seen, the holes for the plant is made large enough for rainwater to flow into it.
