How does commercial chicken farms control lice? - FarmKing - 01-06-2015

Hello fello farmers, how can I control lice? The lice chemicals I know of are pour-ons which you apply individually on the birds. But in a case where you have over 500 birds, do you treat them individually?

Put a lice medicine in a dust bath and allow the birds to dustbath in it. That would be better.

To boost hen health, help ward off mites, lice, cold etc, give them garlic. Chop or pound 1 cove per hen and add to their feed.
