Have You Ever Milk a Goat? - Henlus - 11-08-2014

I read that our West African Dwarf goat is a good milk producer. Some Americans are using them as a source of family fresh milk.  But our people are completely ignorant of this. I’m wondering if anyone here has ever milk a goat.

Update: I just found out that Americans are using improved variety of our goats. Our local goats are actually poor milk producers but by crossing them with good milk producers, you get offsprings that are good milk producers.

True, our local breeds are very poor in milk production.
