How long does it last? Rabbits will eat up the wood. If u must use wooden cage u have to protect the wood with strong wire mesh or sheet metals. RE: Wooden Rabbit Cages – Your Experience - Majinice - 06-12-2015 Even exposing the cage to too much sun light will stress the rabbits and make them kill them self, if the roofing or top is made of metal sheets and not covered with something, this report is among my personal experience . so plan carefully. RE: Wooden Rabbit Cages – Your Experience - FarmTech - 06-12-2015 Thanks Majinice. Optimal temperature should not be neglected for any animal. Painting the zinc white and covering with grass will help. RE: Wooden Rabbit Cages – Your Experience - Hippo - 06-13-2015 I will prefer all wire cage because the wood will soon start smelling rabbit urine.
