I’ve come across books that say that you can use ducks to fertilize fish pond, but I’m wondering - won’t the ducks eat the fish?
If you had read the books very well, you’ll see that you don’t put the fish in the pond when they’re very small. You wait until they attain a certain length. At that length, the ducks can no longer eat them.

At what lenght do you stock them and how many ducks per pond?

When the fingerlings are over 10cm in length. Stocking density is 30 ducks in 1000m2. You'll find this link very helpful: http://www.fao.org/docrep/005/y1187e/y1187e14.htm
I wonder how popular is duck meat in nigeria.

It's not that popular in my area, but that doesn't mean I can't eat it or feed it to my pets.
Quick tip: Ducks are very good in controlling flies, so if you have fly problem in your farm, buy some ducks. But if you raise birds like chickens, I don't think it would be a good option since ducks can carry some chicken diseases.
Thanks for the information.
