We all know about the dangers to humans when we consume products from animals that have been treated with antibiotics, I’ll like to know if there are other alternatives that are equally effective as antibiotics.
We'll have to turn to nature for a solution. The seed of neem tree is effective in preventing poultry diseases. Adding garlic and apple cider vinegar in their water will help improve their immune system and intestinal health.
@ henlus, pls what is apple cider vinegar called in our local parlance and where can one get it?

I don't think it has a local name. You can get it at super markets like Shoprite. You may also ask some beauty shops whether they have it. Alternatively, you can search for it in any online store such as Kaymu, jumia etc.

The danger is antibiotic resistance in humans. It is a situation whereby antibiotics can no longer treat some human diseases because the bacteria have got use to it.
