I'll like us to make a list of disinfectants that are effective against certain viruses and bacteria. We know that it is not all disinfectants that are effective against some pathogens, so let's start the list.
For gumboro, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, chlorine and iodophore-based products are effective. Add yours.
@farmtech, thanks for d info. How is it applied?

He said we should add our own. I know about DD force and I think it would be effective against most pathogens.
@manihot, d last time i checked this forum is for all practising and aspiring farmers to brain storm, rob minds together and learn from each other. When farmtech said add ur, he didnt imply everybody must add, u only add when such information is at ur disposal. Remember u just dont add for adding seek, u add/contribute for d seek of wanting ppl to learn, without dis d essence of dis forum is defeated and it will be a disservice to d owner of dis forum. I only asked a question, and it was not directed to u, i was only expecting u or any other person to add their contribution and ........, without making reference to my question. Even d "add yours" u only succeeded in saying nothing! I can equally tell ppl in d forum, becos i want to say something dat eucalyptus can fight pathogen without explaining why and how it can be used. 'learning is good, practise is better'. Pls i am here to learn and in turn practicalise it. Thanks
@Ikowa I understand you. But I just don't like it when some people like to gain without adding. I'm not saying u're like dat, neither are my saying my previous judgement was correct.
